90 - 16/20 - Beau rouge sombre, profond.

Assemblage: 85% merlot, 10% cabernet sauvignon, 5% cabernet franc. Degré d'alcool:14°5 - pH: 3,59 - IPT: 93 Rendement: 16hl/ha (grêle le 20 juin)- Vin Bio et en Biodynamie
JM Quarin
90/100 - Inky colour, the texture is rich and ripe, more Argentina than Bordeaux. Full tannic frame also, but this good quality, cocoa powder, espresso, dominant and concentrated walks the line, maintaining balance. Aged in barrels, amphora and oak casks.
JANE ANSON
91-92/100 - A linear and right red with blackcurrants, hints of oranges and some hazelnut. Medium body. Chewy yet fine tannins.
James Suckling

90/100 - Earthy red with notes of bark, olives, black fruit, and walnut husk. It’s medium-bodied with a creamy, caressing texture. Soft and juicy. 80% merlot, 12% cabernet sauvignon and 8% cabernet franc. From biodynamically grown grapes with Demeter certification. Drink or hold.
James Suckling

Sylvie Tonnaire - TERRE DE VINS.
94-96. - This biodynamic wine includes flavors of a dark chocolate slab and rich cherries mid palate. Flavors are rich, with silky tannins, and well- integrated acidity. A dark beauty. Pleasant acidity, mild cherries and mint on the finish. Consider pairing with foie gras or roasted duck.
Tom Mullen. FORBES/VINO VOICES.
91. - Sappy cassis and cherry fruit, bright and focused, a good fist of tannins lightened up by slate minerality. An impressive sense of momentum. Max de Pourtalès is the owner here - a former Parisian banker who changed career to buy this estate in 1998.
Jane Anson - Decanter - « Best Bordeaux Médoc & Haut-Médoc, Listrac & Moulis 2020 wines tasted en primeurs ».

The 2019 Doyac is a little gem. Lovely, pure black cherries and red plummy fruit feature on the nose, which is discreet at first and then opens with aeration. The palate is soft and fleshy, offering plenty of vivacious red fruit and just a touch of spiciness toward the persistent finish. Probably costing not a fortune, this comes recommended. Drinking window: 2023-2038
92 /100 -VINOUS- Neal Martin-Dec. 2021
January 2022 - This is a beautifully crafted and savory red with plum, brambleberry and light chocolate aromas and flavors. Hazelnut as well. It’s flavorful and long. The mouth-feel is very silky. 75% merlot and 25% cabernet sauvignon. From biodynamically grown grapes with Demeter certification. Drink after 2024.
93/100- JAMESSUCKLING.COM
93/100 - 80% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon. Garnet red with purple reflections. Subtle and filigree bouquet with fruity and refreshing notes. Tones of red berries and spices followed by a touch of eucalyptus. On the palate, the wine has body thanks to its tannins which give it fullness while the structure ensures a juicy side while emphasizing the aromatic expression until the end of the mouth. A promising wine that we can certainly appreciate in its youth but which has the substance to spend time in the cellar. 2024-2037

91-93 /100 - The 2019 Doyac offers blackcurrant, boysenberry and cedar on the nose, Neal Martin - VINOUS
94-95 /100- A dark ruby and a delicate nose on dark chocolate and hints of blood orange. From the start the precision is astounding, the balance is superb, the aromatic palette just as much, from the cigar box to the variation of black fruits. Doyac is in the game!

92. Decanter. Jane Anson, dégusté le 10.11.2020 in Bordeaux Located in St-Seurin-de-Cadourne, a high-quality location with excellent gravel terroir. Good quality, young and a little austere right now, but there is personality here and depth to the blackberry and raspberry fruits. Enjoyable crushed mint leaf on the finish. A yield of 30hl/ha, 25% new oak, clay-limestone soils. In biodynamic conversion, with certification for the 2019 vintage. Interesting family here also - owner Max de Pourtalès used to work in finance in Paris and Germany, and his wife is an actress in New York.

Grade 91. Blackcurrant, spiced-cherry, pine and licorice aromas. It’ s medium-bodied with fine, integrated tannins.Plenty of fruit. From organically grown grapes. Drink or hold.

16/90. Jean Marc Quarin. Mars 2019.

16. Jancis Robinson. Décembre 2020. Cru Bourgeois Supérieur. 80% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon. Organic certification (Biodynamic practices). Bright and expressive with a minerally, red-fruit edge. Lots of fruit and energy . Chalky tannins. Fresh and dry on the finish despite the glow of alcohol.(JL).
Jancis Robinson

Barrel Sample. This rounded wine is both full and well structured. Its acidity, black currant fruitiness and blackground of wood aging are set to age this wine well over the medium term. Drink from 2022. 88-90.
Wine Enthusiast - Roger Voss
The 2017 Doyac has quite a punchy blackberry and blueberry scented bouquet. The palate is medium-bodied with gritty tannin, fine energy but it feels a little muddled towards the finish at the moment.
Neal Martin-Vinous
Jean-Marc Quarin
There’s lots of good dark-cherry and -plum character here, and although this isn’t the most structured 2017, the pretty fruit and relative ripeness are attractive.. 87-88.
James Suckling
This estate is located high up in the Médoc on clay-limestone soils, so they use a high proportion of Merlot - 65% planted in the vineyard and 75% in this blend. 85% of production goes into the grand vin. This has a fleshiness to it that's very attractive, with fairly weighty black fruits accompanied by a little rusticity on the nose and fairly robust tannins. It's charming and has a sense of flexibility. Consultants are Eric Boissenot and his colleague Marco Balsimelli. Organic, and undergoing biodynamic conversion, with Demeter certification expected in 2019. Drinking Window 2022 - 2032. 88.
Decanter -Jane Anson

Yves Beck
91 POINTSA light, finty edge to the nose here with a rich, ripe and succulent palate that has beautful balance and layered tannins throughout. A blend of 75 per cent merlot and 25 per cent cabernet sauvignon. Try from 2021.
